3x6 quilting bee

So I decided to try out a recently started quilting bee over on flickr called the 3x6 sampler bee. The basics behind it is I'm in a group with 6 other people and using our own stash and block design we create a 12.5 inch block for each person. Here is what I came up with:

I don't think I'll be doing it. I realize that i'm not good with the pressure of trying to make things that I hope the other person will like.

The Bold Red Quilt

After a full year of having this quilt in progress, it is finally done.



Well to be honest... It's been done for a couple weeks, I just haven't felt like taking pictures...

But I love it, and it's going to my grandma for her birthday, and it's a couple weeks late... because I haven't felt like taking a picture of it...



Isn't the red in it so bold and beautiful?
