I really really do.....
It was one of those "everything go wrong" ones. I think it's too busy, I wish I had used a solid brown. The blocks are all different sizes, and the wrong size since my math is sooo bad!
I do like the back though.....
I thinks it's cute, but.... look closely and...
Yup! It's bad. I wasn't paying attention to the long arm tension, so it left me lovely little brown lines all along the back. And to make things worst, my machine completely screwed up on one side of the binding, so I had to do it over.... But it's done now! Oh, and the fabric line is called Mercer Street by Hoffman fabrics, I do love this line.
On a happier note.... I am now the proud new member of the pay it forward movement.
Adrienne passed it on, so now I get to make three lucky people who comment first (and have blogs) something handmade. I have 365 days to get it to you (which gives me plenty of time to learn your likes and dislikes). You commenter's will then have to do the same for three other lucky people on your blogs!

I thought you were going to use the cream one for the sashing, not the brown?? Or did you already do that one and this is another? It's not bad at all Katelyn.
Katelyn I like it :) It's definitely not your fun bright colors but it is still a nice quilt. The backing looks like the face of OWL. VERY CUTE.
I also really like it. I love the brown and the blue together, and the tone on tone brown is really pretty. I love the back. Very nice.
frustrating to work on something and then not be happy with it, but I think it's nice, I love the design but I agree that the solid may have made it less busy, but really the busyness of it doesn't bother me. I think back is adorable too =D
Oh, Katelyn, the quilt is Gorgeous! And yes, that capital "g" was on purpose! I know how it is when everything goes wrong, but from what I can see, it turned out very right. You did good!
So did those first three commentors know they are now in the pay it foward? Maybe that should have been it's own post........
I like the quilt! Maybe that's one that goes in the gift pile. Or the future children pile. I do understand those feelings of everything going wrong, but I think it's pretty.
well its a great quilt but i would probably hate it too if it was that much work! I like the patterned brown though!
I understand why you say you hate it but it is a very nice quilt. It's so frustrating when you feel like things have gone wrong.
YES you're back on etsy! Yay! I missed stalking you there katelynder! :)
