3x6 quilting bee

So I decided to try out a recently started quilting bee over on flickr called the 3x6 sampler bee. The basics behind it is I'm in a group with 6 other people and using our own stash and block design we create a 12.5 inch block for each person. Here is what I came up with:

If your interested in getting the basics of a quilting bee and only want a short term commitment I really recommend this group. Sign up now for the next quarter if your interested. I don't think I'll be doing it. I realize that i'm not good with the pressure of trying to make things that I hope the other person will like.

On a happier note... Look! You can see my head shadow in all the pictures.... funny.

They are all lovely...I am with you and Corinnea with the pressure thing. Not good with a time frame and not totally confident that others my like my taste :)

there you go again, using up precious fabrics and you have no idea if the person will even appreciate that and like what you did! We should have one at the store. I mean, just us employees! A swap. We all know each other. Katelyn: they are alll soooooooo cool!! I love them! And be thankful your head shadow isn't covering the whole block. That might emply you have a big head:)

I like your fresh choice of fabrics. So nice and different. It updates an old traditional block.
