I Love Amy

...well at least her fabrics. And her newest line On A Whim 2 demanded a new baby quilt from me.

I used a dark brown Kona cotton for the background and fussy cut all the lovely critters to scatter around.

The pattern is from the "Take Two and Add A Few" book. And just a couple more photos for cuteness affect...

For the backing I slapped on a luscious chocolate brown minky and a polka dot binding to finish it.

It's soooo cute Katelyn!!! I love the binding. Is that sunshine effect something from your new photo editing program or was it just really bright outside? I really like the effect of the photos. But i wanna see pictures from Berlin!!!!!

Ooooh...minky baby quilt...say, does that have a home yet? I know someone who is having a boy, and might be interested...

It was just sunny, and I had the camera setting on wrong... then I was just too lazy to retake them. And yes, it already has a home. It's going to my almost nephew this fall!

What a great idea to add minky to the back...I'm going to have to try that ;-)
